Product technical specifications
- The dual disc mount facing tool can be used universally by simply changing the facer and clamping position. It mills 100% even, at a 90° angle. The exact 90 ° angle and the parallelism of the disc brake mounts are ensured by the fact that the facer is clamped only once and both disc brake mounts are milled simultaneously.
- This is the only way to guarantee an absolutely identical milling depth, which is a prerequisite for the correct assembly and proper functioning of the disc brake. Before you clamp the face milling machine, you must check the parallelism of the dropouts, as only then a perfect milling of the disc brake mount is guaranteed.
- The tool is delivered in the standard configuration for the quick release (QR) and 20 mm thru axle. NB: an adapter is needed to use the face milling tool with a 12 mm or 15 mm thru axle, that is Cyclus Tools art. 720962
