- With the Cyclus Tools Threader for BSA (1,370" x 24 tpi) you'll generate an optimal concentric bottom bracket thread. Insert both sides of the threader tap simultaniously to avoid canting and damage to the existing thread Inner diameter of the scabbard holder: 16mm .
Attention: Letters or marks on the tool refer to the tool itself, not the left or right side of the bicycle (i.e. "R" on one side of the tool is for chasing a classic right handed thread, so the tool must be turned to the right (clockwise). The "L" side of the tool is for the left hand thread of the bottom bracket shell, which must be turned to the left counterclockwise)
Use a cutting oil suitable for the material to be machined.
