Product technical specifications
- Create exactly levelled fork cone seats with this face milling tool.
- The milling cutter is suitable for 1 1/8" (30.0 mm) fork cone seats.
- Width of the cutter surface: 6mm.
- Maximum milling depth is 6 mm.
- The tool is used for optimal adjustment of the lower fork cone seat on the fork neck. In order to avoid overstressing, a uniform pressure must be applied to the cutter by means of the threaded sleeve and the spring. The tool must always be turned in the cutting direction (clockwise) only! Use a cutting oil, suitable for the material to be machined.
Note: Before milling, remove any chromium layers that may be present in order to avoid excessive wear of the cutting edges or "seizing" of the tool in the control tube. max. width of cutter surface: 6 mm
