Product technical specifications
- Create precisely levelled fork cone seats with this face milling tool.
- The milling cutter is suitable for 1" (26.4 mm) fork cone seats.
- The width of the cutter surface: 6mm.
- Maximum milling depth is 6 mm.
- The tool is used for optimal adjustment of the lower fork cone seat on the fork neck. In order to avoid overstressing, a uniform pressure must be applied to the cutter by means of the threaded sleeve and spring. The tool must always be turned in the cutting direction (clockwise) only! Use a cutting oil, suitable for the material to be machined.
Note: Before milling, remove any chromium layers that may be present in order to avoid excessive wear of the cutting edges or "seizing" of the tool in the control tube.
