The SHIMANO ALIVIO CS-HG400 9-speed cassette has larger hollow spaces in the sprockets, resulting in a weight saving of approximately 11% when compared to the previous generation cassette - HG50-9 with 11-34 teeth. HG cassettes are compatible with Shimano HG and provide silent and fluent gear shifting. HG sprockets guide the chain quickly and directly to the next sprocket without overdrive.
