Product technical specifications
- The bearing extractor can be used to precisely and easily drive out all size of bearings from their housing/seating, without pressing on touching the frame, fork or any other delicate components.
- This is especially good for extracting bearings from sensitive carbon frames. The two different hammer sizes (700g and 1400g) enable small and larger bearings to be driven out with a suitable force.
- Always ensure that the hammer is held and fully inserted in the bearing axis. Clean the bearing housing beforehand and apply silicone oil to free very stuck bearings. The sliding hammer, the connecting element and a bearing adapter are all necessary for a functional tool. The weight from the slide hammer and the bearing adapter can be exchanged according to the size of bearing being worked on.
- Compatible with:
- All ball/roller/slide bearings with an inner diameter (ID) of 6 30 mm.
- For a functional tool, you need the appropriate adapter, art. no.: 7202710 7202721 the slide hammer 700 g, item no.: 7202951 or the exchange weight 1400 g, item no.: 7202952
Note: Ensure the connecting element and sliding hammer rod are securely screwed together before using the tool!
