With a wide contact area, the PD-ME700 pedals let riders focus on the trail ahead. This new pedal model replaces Shimano Deore PD-M530 and has a 7.7mm wider body. Also, it features a raised rear part, which is claimed to get about 12 % more of the pedal body in contact with the shoe. Designed to work seamlessly with SHIMANO AM series shoes, the SPD trail pedals deliver enhanced stability over rough terrain.
