Product technical specifications
- The chain whip tool is suitable for both the assembly and disassembly of screw (freewheel type) cassettes, as well as the assembly of such cassettes on the hub body.
- Furthermore, HD and ED cassettes can be disassembled from the freehub body (with the help of the appropriate lock-ring puller).
- To use:
- 1) place the chain of the chain-whip tool on the larger sprocket teeth according to the desired direction of required rotation
- 2) insert the required cassette lock-ring puller or freehub removal wrench tool
- 3) firmly hold the chain-whip handle to secure the cassette body while you loosen the lock-ring (HD and ED cassettes) or turn the central part in the freewheel to unscrew the freewheel type casette from the hub.
