Counter Measure: - The new Vivid was developed to help you achieve your best, and offers some functions that were previously considered impossible. With technologies like Counter Measure, which reduces the shock's breakaway resistance to virtually zero, small bumps become a buttery smooth ride with perfect grip.
Dual Flow Adjust - DFA is a bit like glam metal. Two things that actually don't go together at all, but harmonise in a magical way. Let's say you're riding on a course with monstrous descents and countless bumps that slow you down. Normally you would have to adjust your suspension fork to one of the two characteristics. However, here RockShox DFA refuses and uses its independent dual damping circuits to be prepared for both. So strong impacts are absorbed and the ride is still soft enough for the small knocks - just like make-up and metal.
Rapid Recovery - Who wouldn't wish for a larger travel for successive bumps? Thanks to the Rapid Recovery System, the damper returns to its original position more quickly after successive bumps, allowing the wheel to grip the ground with greater precision. This more active damping system does not fail and ensures a ride with higher and softer spring stiffness. With Rapid Recovery, the rider benefits from greater suspension travel for a smoother and more controlled ride with every bump.
