- Cyclus Tools special workshop tool with handles for mounting / dismounting Shimano BB-Octalink 7700 / 6500 / 5500 bottom brackets.
- Shimano Octalink standard (spline) interface cartridge type bottom brackets
- Kinex-Alu
- Thick rubber handles for applying the high torques required to install and remove cartridge bottom brackets
- Place the mounting tool into the spline socket of the bottom bracket and turn the spring-loaded insert into the crank mounting bolt hole to secure the tool.
- Now you can install or remove the bottom bracket without slipping off or damaging the splines of bearing shell.
Tip:
When mounting the bottom bearing cartridge, first ensure the frame shell threads are clean and greased.
Pay attention to the frame material and bottom bracket torque values specified by the manufacturers.
